A Happy and Healthy 2021!

Here we are  . . .  a new year with all its promise and hope! As we start the new year, here a quick overview of our last post of 2020:

A pilot in Germany flew a plane along a carefully planned course that sketched out a giant syringe on the flight recorder, like a hi-tech etch-a-sketch.

In 2021, Flash animations will no longer be supported by the major browsers. Fortunately, an open source collective has come to the rescue and created a Flash emulator that allows existing Flash animation to stay visibile online. We used the Flash emulator on a couple of our digitalsouls.com archive pages from 2000 and it is working beautifully.

The last thing that caught our eye last week was Boston Dynamics dancing robots. Scary and fascinating at the same time, as we were watching we often felt like we're watching a cgi generated animation, but no, these are real robots tearing it up on the dance floor.
